1.Who we are

RetailJinny is a design, print, web and marketing studio based in Uttam Nagar, New Delhi, India, serving clients across India. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean RetailJinny. It explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and what control you have over it.

It applies to https://www.retailjinny.com, to our lead forms on Facebook and Instagram, and to enquiries you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email. We are the data fiduciary responsible for that information.

2.Information we collect

Information you give us

We only ask for what we need to answer an enquiry and run a job. That is typically:

  • Your name and, where relevant, your business or organisation name.
  • Contact details: phone or WhatsApp number, and email address.
  • Enquiry details: the service you are interested in, quantity, sizes, deadlines, delivery city or pincode, and anything else you choose to write in the message box.
  • Files you send us: logos, artwork, photographs, text and reference material shared for a quote or a print job.
  • Order and billing details: delivery address, GSTIN and invoice information, where you place an order with us.

You may give us this information through the quote form or the free design form on this website, through a lead form on our Facebook or Instagram ads, or directly over WhatsApp, phone or email.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you visit, logged by our hosting provider for security, rate limiting and troubleshooting.
  • Aggregate analytics: page view and performance statistics collected through Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. These are cookieless and are not used to build a profile of you or to follow you across other websites.

What we do not collect

  • We do not ask for or store card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs, net banking passwords or any other payment credentials on this website. There is no checkout here; payments are arranged separately once a quote is agreed.
  • We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as health, biometric or government ID information, and we ask you not to send it through our forms.

3.How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
  • Design, produce, pack and deliver the job you order, and to keep your approved artwork on file so a reorder does not need a fresh brief.
  • Send you job updates, proofs for approval, dispatch and tracking details, and invoices.
  • Provide customer support, handle reprints under our proof-match guarantee, and resolve complaints.
  • Keep records required for accounting, tax and legal compliance.
  • Protect the website against spam and abuse, for example the rate limiting on our enquiry form.
  • Send occasional offers or updates about our services, where you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time; see Your rights and choices.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade contact lists.

4.Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp lead forms

We advertise on Meta platforms. If you submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes the details you confirmed in that form (usually your name, phone number and email address, together with any answers you gave to our questions) to RetailJinny so that we can contact you about your enquiry.

We use those details to reply to you by WhatsApp, phone or email about the service you enquired about, and to prepare a quote. Submitting a lead form is your request for us to get in touch.

Meta's own collection and use of your data on its platforms is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy, not by this one. If you message us on WhatsApp, the message itself is carried by WhatsApp under its own terms; we see and store the contents of your conversation with us.

This website does not currently load the Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags or any other advertising or retargeting tracker.

6.Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is needed to run the service, and only with organisations that are bound to protect it:

  • Google: enquiries submitted through this website are recorded in a Google Sheet in our Google account, and we use Google Workspace for email and file storage.
  • Vercel: our hosting and analytics provider, which serves this website and keeps short-lived server logs.
  • Meta Platforms: where you reach us through a Facebook or Instagram lead form or on WhatsApp, as described above.
  • Courier and logistics partners: your name, address and phone number, so that your order can be delivered and tracked.
  • Production and installation partners: where a job requires specialist finishing or on-site installation, limited to the details needed to complete it.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: our accountants, or law enforcement and regulators where we are legally required to disclose information.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we rely on the provider's own contractual and security commitments to keep your information protected.

7.Cookies

This website does not use advertising or profiling cookies, and our analytics are cookieless, which is why you are not asked to accept a cookie banner here.

One cookie may be set for a strictly functional reason: if the site is placed in maintenance mode, an owner bypass cookie is stored for 24 hours on the device used to review the site. It contains no personal information about visitors.

8.How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become orders: kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up the conversation if you return, then deleted.
  • Order records, invoices and tax documents: kept for as long as Indian accounting and tax law requires, currently up to 8 years.
  • Artwork and approved proofs: kept while you remain a client so reorders can be run from the approved file, and deleted on request.
  • Server logs: kept only briefly by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics.

9.How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries are submitted to our own server, never to a third-party endpoint exposed in the browser, and the credentials used to record them are held as server-side secrets. Access to our lead records, email and file storage is restricted to the people at RetailJinny who need it, on accounts protected by passwords and two-factor authentication.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will act on it and notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

10.Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal data of yours we hold and how we use it.
  • Correct anything that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
  • Delete your data, where we are not required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.
  • Withdraw a consent you previously gave.
  • Stop sending you marketing messages. Reply STOP to any promotional WhatsApp or SMS message, or email us and we will remove you, though you will still receive messages about a job that is in progress.
  • Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.

Write to us at hello@retailjinny.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else.

11.Children

Our services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

13.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or our tools change. The revised version is published on this page with a new “last updated” date. Where a change materially affects how we use your information, we will make that clear.

14.Contact and grievances

For any question about this policy, to exercise your rights, or to raise a complaint about how we have handled your data, reach us on any of these. We answer data requests within 30 days.
