Weight

Four weights, 180 to 420 GSM

  1. 180 to 220GSM

    Light

Soft and thin. It drapes rather than stands, and breathes.

Summer events, promotional giveaways, indoor teams, and layering under a jacket.

  2. 240 to 280GSM

    All-season

A comfortable middle weight with some body, still easy to wear for hours.

Everyday team and corporate hoodies, college and club wear, and a first order when you are unsure.

  3. 300 to 340GSM

    Heavy

Dense and structured. It holds its shape and the cuffs stay tight.

Winter wear, premium brand merchandise, and prints or embroidery that need a stable base.

  4. 360 to 420GSM

    Extra heavy

Thick, boxy and warm, the weight streetwear labels are built on.

Premium streetwear drops, cold-weather uniforms, and a hoodie meant to feel substantial.

GSM is grams per square metre of fabric. It is weight, not quality.

Fabrics

Ten fabrics, one spec each

  • Cotton fleece

Cotton or cotton blend, brushed inside

    280 to 450+

    Premium winter and heavy prints

Pure cotton can shrink and costs more

  • Poly-cotton fleece

    Blends such as 65/35, 70/30, 80/20

    250 to 400+

    Bulk orders and regular production

    More polyester means less breathable

  • French terry

    Smooth outside, small loops inside

    220 to 350

    Light premium wear and layering

    Less warm than fleece

  • Cotton knit

    100% cotton sweatshirt knit

    240 to 400+

    Natural, breathable premium wear

    Check structure and recovery

  • Polyester fleece

    Mostly 100% polyester

    180 to 350+

    Sportswear and budget winterwear

    Can pill and hold static

  • Waffle thermal

    Cotton, polyester or blend

    180 to 300

    Textured, thermal layering

Not a classic smooth hoodie look

  • Interlock knit

    Smooth on both sides, stable

    200 to 350+

    Clean, structured finish

    Less warmth than brushed fleece

  • Cotton elastane

    Cotton with a little stretch

    Varies

    Stretch fits and flexible panels

What's included

Everything in this service

Most hoodie orders go wrong on weight, not on the logo. GSM, grams per square metre of fabric, decides how a hoodie feels, how it hangs and which season it is for, and it is the number people rarely think to ask about. We work across the full range, 180 to 420 GSM, so you choose the weight for the job instead of taking whatever a catalogue happens to stock.

Every weight, 180 to 420 GSM

Light summer layers at the low end, heavyweight winter and streetwear fabric at the top, and every step in between.

Screen printing

Solid-colour logos and bold artwork that hold up wash after wash. Best suited to larger runs.

DTF transfer

Full-colour artwork, gradients and fine detail, without a separate screen for every colour.

Puff printing

Raised, soft-touch lettering with a 3D finish, popular for streetwear and brand drops.

Embroidery

Stitched logos on the chest, sleeve or hood. Reads as premium and outlasts most prints.

Brand colour matching

Tell us your brand colour and we advise the closest fabric shade available, and say plainly when it is not an exact match.

Team and uniform runs

The same hoodie, colour and print position across a whole team, so a group looks like a group.

Mock-up before production

Your logo placed on a hoodie so you see the position, size and spelling before anything is printed.

Questions

About custom hoodies

The things clients ask before the first job.

What does GSM mean, and which should I pick?
GSM is grams per square metre, the weight of the fabric. Roughly: 180 to 220 is light and summery, 240 to 280 is a comfortable all-season weight, 300 to 340 is a proper winter hoodie, and 360 to 420 is thick, structured and warm. If you are unsure, tell us who wears it and when, and we will recommend one.
Is a higher GSM always better?
No. Weight is not quality. A heavy hoodie in poor yarn can feel worse than a lighter one in good cotton, and a 400 GSM hoodie is miserable in a Delhi May. Pick the weight for the use, then judge the fabric in your hand, which is why we suggest a sample before a larger order.
What is the minimum order?
It depends on the fabric, the colour and how the hoodie is decorated, so we confirm it when you ask for a quote. Tell us the quantity you have in mind, even if it is small, and we will say what is possible.
Which print method should I choose?
Screen print for simple logos in bold colours across a larger run. DTF for full-colour or detailed artwork. Puff print for raised lettering. Embroidery for a stitched, premium finish. Send the artwork and we will say which suits it, and tell you if a simpler method would look just as good.
Can you match my brand colour?
We advise the closest fabric colour available and tell you honestly if it is not an exact match. Fabric dye and printed ink do not behave the same way, so for a strict brand colour, confirm the shade before the run.
Can I get a name or number on each hoodie?
Usually, yes. Send the list and where you want it on the hoodie, and the method is confirmed in the proof.
